We love Skyway and ski there 50 times per winter season. It is very well maintained with a wonderful trail system. We have been dues paying members for 28 years and will continue to support the Grand Mesa Nordic Council that manages it.
Great place for skiing and getting outdoors. The cross country ski paths are well groomed and taken care of. Great place to get out and enjoy the mountains.
Love the LaSalle Overlook on this trail. The trail is well groomed. Plenty of parking.
Just the drive on the Grand mesa is so beautiful. It was snowing pretty good which made it even more beautiful of a drive
This is a very well maintained trail system. The grooming was perfect and the trails were well marked. It has a nice parking lot with well maintained vault toilets.
Beautiful day at Skyway. This is a well maintained and regularly groomed Nordic area on the Grand Mesa. Rentals in the Town of Mesa at Odin Sports on the way up. Lots of snow on this visit and being a weekday very few people. We did Sunset Trial with a short side trip to the over look. Perfect conditions, beautiful snow and trees and scenery. The Grand Mesa should be on every Nordic skier’s bucket list. Note to Dog owners: please use the also fantastic County Line area about 1 mile away. It’s pet friendly and just as good.
Beautifully groomed trails for skiers. There was also a snow shoe trail as well!
Low 70's. Great temp for hiking. Make sure to have bug spray. Public bathroom available
